Slack is truly horrible

I have been unable to easily leave a Slack workspace. The Slack UI is truly horrible.

I have been using Slack as part of my work for the last two years, and as I recently left this job, there is no longer any reason for me to be part of the workspace.

Leaving or removing a workspace should be as simple as right-clicking and choosing "leave" inside the APP, but, to my horror, this is seemingly not possible, and instead you have to "delete" your account in the workspace – on the slack website!

Making matters even worse; even after deleting yourself from the Workspace, the selection-dropdown still includes it, only now it shows with a Warning triangle on it. As if something is wrong. Nothing is wrong! I deleted myself from the workspace on purpose, and I expect it to be gone. Sigh.

As it turns out, you have to first hit Command + Shift + S, this seemingly decouples the workspace switcher from the other UI elements. E.g. Home, DMs, and Activity; only then will you be able to right click and delete a workspace.

I really hate Slack. It is an absolutely horrible commercial solution in itself, and the unintuitive UI only makes it worse. Far better OSS alternatives exist – please never pay money for such basic communication solutions.
